| | (Post a comment) » ATI ALL-IN-WONDER X800 XT ReviewSporting DVI and VGA connections, ATI's ALL-IN-WONDER X800 XT is a multimedia powerhouse. The board features ATI's X800 XT AGP graphics core and is outfitted with a new silicon tuner from Microtune for TV tuning. As an AIW board, the AIW X800 XT also supports VIVO, and can act as a personal video recorder, just like a TiVo, and with its single slot cooler, its ready for use in an HTPC. See what other improvements ATI has incorporated into what may be their last AGP AIW board in today's review! | Previous news article | Back to main news | Next news article |

Great review.
Does the AIW x800 come with the 1.6ns or the 2.0ns chips on it?
Heard that the ATI silencer 4 might not work with this card either,
anyone else hear that?
Thanks,
Greg

Oh, and btw, why is there always Scully in your A-i-W shots? You

Okay, I've now had some more time to play with this card and MCE
2005, it's running fine with no issues. What specific problems are
you having? I've tried running the latest CAT drivers and even the
ones included on the CD and neither has given me problems (although
granted this setup is only a few hours old).
#8: Yes, there is a slight delay if you're going to run it straight
off the PC. I would suggest you use the card for video capture only.

ATi should try to get a X800XL AIW card out, that would sell great.

Did anyone notice the TV viewing section:
"Concerned parents will also be glad to know that the
'ALL-IN-WONDER 9700 PRO' offers parental controls..."
Not enough coffee??
