If it's the mx1000 u got, then i'd get used to the cursor jumping
and unpredictable behaviour that comes in the box along with the
mouse! (damn, i wish i read the small print on the box!). The mouse
is excellent - best i've used. The drivers and apparent
compatabillity with XP, however, are sadly not so good - to say the
least. Logitech claim they fixed it with their latest driver, but
hasn't worked 4 me.
Oh, btwm Logitechs answer to solving the problem DOES NOT work!!
<Cheers, Logitech! - last time buy any of your products :) >

Hi All: I have a Kensington wireless model #K72125,which is
absolutely the fastest mouse that I have ever used,I also have a
Logitech Mx500 gathering dust as it is way too slow, plus the
Kensington will track on almost anything including white paper and
even my hand, and as for gaming ,which I do a lot of it is the best.

I have a MX500, a MX510, and a MX518.
I used to have an MX700 and I triend the MX1000.
They just didn't work for me. I like my mice light (I even remove
the little weigth in the MX5* series, makes it even more responsive.
That reduced mass is what helps me, I didn't really notice any lag,
just a bad feeling when gaming wireless, but it might have had
something to do with it.
Anyway, this is what I an begging for from logitech. Why haven't
they made the MX518 with laser tech. Or some other corded version.
