| | (Post a comment) » BFG GeForce 7900 GTX/GeForce 7900 GT OC ReviewLast week we showed you how NVIDIA's GeForce 7900 GTX and GeForce 7900 GT cards performed in comparison to ATI's X1900-series cards, but as most of you know, many of NVIDIA's board partners overclock their retail GeForce cards for added performance. BFG is one such manufacturer, overclocking their GeForce 7900 GTX OC and 7900 GT OC cards from the factory. How do these oc'ed cards fare against ATI's latest and greatest with NVIDIA's new ForceWare 84.20 driver? Let's find out in today's review! | Previous news article | Back to main news | Next news article |

Someone needs to change all the questions marks to apostrophes ot
quotation marks - sheesh... learn to proof read:
BFG goes one step further for the GeForce 7900 GTX OCs
bundle... Also included in the cards packaging is...a
collection of stickers you can attach to your BFG GeForce 7900 GTX
OC board. The stickers are hilarious, with lines such as
OMGWTFBFGSAUCE, My big
fn gun, or Mine Goes to
512.

There's a couple 256MB X1800XT's out allready. I see an HIS model
and a Sapphire model on Newegg, with a couple smaller places also
carrying the Sapphire.
As far as the X1800GTO, that looks to be competing more against the
7600GT.

Well, on the high end the two most expensive cards are basically
neck in neck for performance. So, since the ATI X1900XTX has better
video playback, much better, I'd give the round to ATI this time.

Yes, I know that. But the X1800 GTO, X1800 XT 256MB, and X1800 XL
512MB were all announced for the first time basically last week on
the 9th. All I was saying is that of the three cards, the X1800 GTO
looks like the card that's going to hit retail en masse first.

Hate to say it but, from all the research I've seen...
.....Over Clocking a card don't really seem to mean much.

GTO bites the dist compared to the 7900gt. The 1800Xt is neck and
neck with it though.

That's a good question. I'm still waiting on cards to arrive...
I hear we'll have GTO before the 31st though.

Where are the 256MB X1800XT cards for comparison?? These cards are
competing directly against the 7900GT.

That sucks. I looked at it earlier and put it in my wish list and
wanted to have them auto-notify me. The price went to 309$ and said
it was in stock. Hehe
