-The character sound and look exactly like Vin Disel(because it IS modeled and voiced by him).
-Doom 3 like graphics, HL2 type speed(means good).
-Doom 3 like atmosphere, HL2 type storyline. You can almost say the best of both world.
-The voice acting was AWESOME, Hollywood quality.
-The model acting was AWESOME, I know they used skeletal imaging for sure!
-Hand to Hand combat looks more fun than other I've played, when you hit someone, it really feels like you hit someone.
-The characters you meet actually feels like they have a character. Unlike Half Life 2's Cardboard cut charactors.
-Non-repetitive, it didn't feel repetitive.
-Texture and levels were very detailed.

-The levels are always abit on the dark side. Hey he's in a Jail, what else can I expect?
-Most objects are not interactable, i.e. the world feels abit dead if you try to interact with it.

I played both HL2 and Doom3 and this game seem to have most of the good elements from both games. But lacking in other that prevent this game to go above them both, notabily the physics engine and the interactivity of the world. It delivers the best in atmosphere(better than doom 3 because it is more varied), varied gameplay(but not as varied as HL2), voice and model acting.
Wanna play a game that feels like a movie, play this one. Didn't play doom 3? Play this one. Don't want to pay for both HL2 and Doom3? Play this one. Better bang for the buck. Choosing between HL2 and this one? That's up for grabs. |
