Although my computer is somewhat lacking, I was able to crank up Hitman 2's graphics and still run the game quite well. A nice surpised for me as other recent games (UT 2K3, Raven Shield MP demo, Unreal 2 and Spinter Cell demo) ran like my computer was full of old sticky prune juice.
Although such a game doesn't REALLY require a tutorial, the developers included on anyway. Even better, built into the game and storyline.
Hitman 2 allows you to play the game in basically two ways: sleath and Rambo. Although killing all on site is kinda fun, it doesn't reward you at the end of the level. Finishing a level without being seen or heard will reward you with a weapons, such as the ultracool silenced Ballers. That said, playing the levels this way is a pain. Guards spot you from miles away, people find bodies in the most remote locations, and walking the wrong way or pausing in from of a guard at the wrong time will blow your cover.
Although some of the levels in Hitman 2 are a blast to play, some are repeated throughout the game. Not a diaster, but part of the fun of starting a new level is seeing new scenery.
Dispite the cons, I really enjoyed Hitman 2. Smarter then RtCW, a notch below Splinter Cell. |
