Fast stock, but can get it much faster by FSB.I stopped at 2.93 because i felt my Zalman 9500 would not cool it enough.Thatwill change when i install a coolit freezone system.Ill be trying for 3.5Ghz

Intel locked the multiplier,Can only OC by FSB
But with good cooling 3.5Ghz should be easy to hit

Iwas a little worried abiout jumping from AMD to Intel, but after selling my two FX60 setups and buying a X6800 and a E6700 it turned out to br the best thing i ever did.I think its going to take AMD a long time to catch up.Their so called Quad setup cant even touch Intels. So i guess you could say that AMD failed.Besides,i really donot call AMDs Quad setup a true Quad. Intel managed to get both chips on a single die.AMDs two CPUs on one board is just not right. And then there's the problem with motherboards. You do not have anykind of a choice, just one board. |
