new hero for every race along with the previous heroes.
new dominant races, e.g Naga,Blood elves and Dranei.
an engrossing story-line following from where the original game left.
the heroes that have returned have become more.....charismatic(as part of the story) and therefore more powerful than before.
like before a twist in the story occurs when heroes change their loyalties making the story long and complictaed and giving way to suspense.
new units for every race along with new abilities for the previous units.
unlike the previous game u get to control all of the allied races yourself in most chapters of the game.

this game rules, has a bit of the rpg element in it. The new heroes are the major reason why this game is so good. About the story line--it is simply unpredictable and i would definitely give it more points than lord of the rings. Blizzard have done it again INDUBITABLY.---(Anu'barak)
