This is like Civilization but in space.
Very funny
You can make your own ships
Choose whatever you want for your empire. Make it a dictatorship, republic and more. Become evil or good. Invade or protect. Virtually anything.
Great support and patches from the developers
You would never get bored
Unlimited replayability
A lot of strategy involved
NO COPY PROTECTION AND I PREPARED TO SPAM THIS!

Not such a great interface
A GIANT tech tree that will get tedious but there are modes (not mods) that counter this.
Some crashing but its tolerable
Graphics isn't too impressive but its just fine seeing that the genre doesn't need anything jaw-dropping. The future expansion should improve it.

This game is very humorous and I am having a fun time playing it. Its the best space empire building game out there and I can't stop building ships. Its very fun and very diverse with virtually unlimited replayability.
Also get this: NO COPY PROTECTION WHATSOEVER. Stardock should get some sort of medal. Copy protection does nothing but make the game unplayable and causing security breaches. But Stardock is wise. Hell, many people bought the game just for that.
The interface isn't to great, like you can't use your arrow keys to move. But there are mods and future patches that will improve this problem. |
