Evercool Buffalo HPFA-10025 AMD Heatsink Still even with a 50dB loud fan, Evercool's Buffalo (HPFA-10025) heatsink is a great lower-noise AMD Athlon64 socket 754/939/940/AM2 heatsink.
Recommend.Gigabyte GH-PCU31-VH (3D Cooler-Ultra) HSFOne thing I can't over state is that the Gigabyte 3DCooler-Ultra is really best suited to the larger heatspreader-capped processors like the Athlon64 and Pentium4.
Rating:
92/100
Arkua 8568 HSF (Intel)With that simple realization in mind it seems like an obvious reason to exhaust the air from the heatsink directly at the processor - further cooling it down over that of the heatsink.
Rating:
83/100
Spire SP411C5 QuieTude II™ HSFAt 300RPM the SP411C5 is good in the noise department, but at higher temperatures it can get somewhat loud.
Rating:
84/100
Spire SP420B8 CopperStream™ HSFThe fins come off the assembly line interlocked with one anther via small tabs and the entire fin assembly is soldered to the copper base plate.
Rating:
86/100
Spire 5F271B1L3 FalconRock II™ HSFIf done properly, the copper will ultimately increase the surface area of the heat source enticing quicker transmission to the outer fins more effectively.
Rating:
72/100
Spire SPA04B4 WhisperRock IV™ HSFThe inward curve of the heatsink means that noise levels can be kept under control with the large 35mm thick fan above, while still maintaining the profile necessary to make it mountable.
Rating:
83/100
Scythe Kamakaze Rev. B SCKM-1000 HSFThe Scythe Kamakaze configured for Socket A processors, but with the turn of a few screws it can just as easily be set up for an Intel system.
Rating:
85/100
T.I.T.I. Dr. Thermal TI-A8641L HSF (AMD)Looking over the Thermal Integration TI-A8641L it is easy to draw parallels with Zalman's flower shaped heatsinks.
Rating:
85/100
T.I.T.I. Dr. Thermal TI-RV108N HSF (Pentium 4)If you're looking for a bit of insight into the cooling world, pay close attention to this type of heatsink from Thermal Integration.
Rating:
84/100
T.I.T.I. Dr. Thermal TI-A8736N HSF (Pentium 4)Bolted together, the 60 or so copper and aluminum fins come together to form a cohesive heatsink shape.
Rating:
89/100
Gigabyte GH-PCU21-VG (3D Cooler-Pro)The 3DCooler-Pro is an an all-in-one aluminum and copper heatsink designed to support all processors currently available.
Rating:
89/100
Zalman CNPS7000A-Cu HSF (Pentium 4)Zalman's heatsinks have become well known to consumers looking for low-noise cooling accessories.
Rating:
72/100
Thermalright SK6+Thermalright heatsinks just look like they mean business. And matched with the right fan they often do.
Rating:
79/100
Thermalright SK7Bottom line; while the Thermalright SK-7 is an aging heatsink, it still has a lot of potential if paired up with the right fan.
Rating:
90/100
Thermalright SLK900UGiven these two different sizes of fans, rotational speeds, and CFM output it will be interesting to see just how the Thermalright SLK900U reacts thermally!
Rating:
85/100
Thermalright SLK900AThe SLK-900A ships without a fan, but that flexibility allows you to determine just how loud and annoying the heatsink will be.
Rating:
85/100
Thermaltake Silent Boost A1889Quiet heatsinks have soared in popularity as manufacturers have been forced to develop more efficient designs which cool better, quietly.
