So the consortium EB and GameStop is selling games now online. This is an excellent path for those like us here in Firing Squad, that do not like to go and buy the game at a retail store and come back home to download it and play it.

The store opens October 1st 2006. We wish our friends in GameStop a successful opening.

We’re glad to see game vendors take online distribution seriously, and would really like it if most games were available to purchase online. Besides saving the time and money it takes to drive out to Best Buy, it would really be great to be able to impulse buy an old (or new) game that you really want to play right now.

I am sure that we will see more of these platforms in the future that only sell games and offer you an environment to play it whenever you want.
